I love the idea but the position the cowboy is in doesn't seem to fit the way the t-rex is running forwards. If the T-rex looked like it was bucking more like a rodeo horse I would totally sub!

The cowboy's head is kind of weird. I looks more like he is facing leftward (right for him) than right (forward for him).

I love the tRex though.

I love the color of the dinosaur, great illustration.

Leave the background alone. It's wonderful and it doesn't detract from the dino rider, just adds a hint of location.

what if the background was the brown color instead of black? and maybe a little bit thicker lines. love the dino!

Halftone background, and shadow under the cowboy.

I think the shadow should match the halftone background (which you happened to do really well, by the way).

I added some slight shading to the cowboy's shirt, and removed the color from the shadow on the ground.

It looks really nice, how did you do the halftones for the background? I've tried halftones for the first time here but they haven't turned out anywhere near as clean.

Yeah, i agree, no halftones. do a blue tee, and then have the ground be a halftone, but not quite how you have it, more where it's fading off into the rest of the shirt. then the sky will be the blue-color of the shirt. i really like the idea though!

Lighter shade of blue for the sky.

3 tee colors I've had requests for. The design currently uses 9 colors (which includes black and white), so printing on a white tee brings it to 8. Any other color and I have to eliminate one of the colors from the design.

You could replace the cowboy's brown with the dark blue .. to get to 8 colours ... OR you can drop your highlight blue on the t-rex, I dont think your design will lose too much from that ... OR .. you can just go the Simulated option ;)

You could just have the cowboy be white? or get rid of the white in the clouds... they would still look like clouds.

The cowboy's pants could be black and his neckerchief and elbow patches could be brown. That would eliminate the dark blue.

I seemed to get the most nods for the sand. Here is an updated version with the white taken out (bringing the color tally to 8). Comments?

I like this version the best. honestly the only thing bothering me about this is the angle at which the dinosaur is running...he looks like he is about to topple over. I think his upper body could be a little bit more upright. Other than that its gravy.

I'd add a little bit of shading on the back arm, similar to the back leg, to make it look less flat. Other than that, it looks good. I especially like the dot background, looks like an old comic book.
