I thought maybe some1 should give the whole iPod thing YET ANOTHER go...



What do you think of the Tee colour? I think the pink simply lends itself to the image... But I'd prefer something a little less... gender biased. The gold seems the best to me... What do you think??

I wonder if this would constitute copyright infringement. Plus iPod parodies are soooo 2002. =P That being said you obviously have some skills when it comes to rendering images. Although I don't think this particular design would bode well with the voters, I think you should definitely keep submitting here!

i agree with the pink it works well with the image and i think its good you have been looking into pastel colors, although the gold works well its not a colour i would prefer to wear, i would continue to look at different colours. my favorite is the light blue, how did you achieve such a clean finish to the image? i really like the image btw :)

But, just to reassure you, yes, your style is lovely and it was a fab idea. Keep going.

I donnnn't think it'll be copyright infringement - not on the Hello Kitty because it's WAY different - they can't patent the "silouhette" and if iPod can copyright that image then half the stuff already parodying it won't have been printed :)

I'll look into the colours, but I think maybe for once, we'll give the girls something... Ha :P I agree light blue's the most gender neutral and suitable colour... can't really use one of the darker colours, it just doesn't really work.

yeah yeah I know, it's Hello Kitty, but not so obviously so, and certainly not sickeningly cutely so. In a way I think it kinda looks zombie (not that I like zombies)

like the idea even though i hate hello kitty stuff. Really love your graphic stuff steven,nice simple and clean. You can make the back cables strokes thinner to make the design easy to read. All the cable strokes are in the same thickness and it is making hard to see the kitty silhouette. Hope this comment helps you. Cheers!

Thanks for all your comments! I think the recognition factor wouldn't be any better with thinner cables... And I think that it's as recognisable as it can be now - and a little exploration is fun too, I think :)



Ok here's the version I think I'll stick with - light blue. The gold's also cool but I think light blue fits better.

The - unnamed - kitty has a pink bow and pink accessories. If you really want to get the idea across - use pink.

Agreed - pink may help with recognizability, but even then a lot of people won't catch it. Grey background for me.

it took me a while but i get it. it's good

i agree it takes a litle to get it. i like it. i think it would be even better if it was easyer to understand it, as a tee is a medium you generaly see in movement, therefor don't have that much time to study to get the concept. nice work on it, maybe redo it a litle
