This is a very rough version of an idea I had of a duck and its reflection, this idea is really open ended and along with feedback suggested direction would be helpful.

The duck's neck looks pretty thick, and/or there's too much of a curve in the body before it hits the water. I like how the duck's reflection is done because the face part also kind of looks like a fish.

I love it. Just clean up the white edge round the beak, sort that neck out and it will be lovely.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback, believe it or not but that's the actual duck's neck, this wasn't a drawing but an actual picture. So the neck is actually true to life but I will work on it, I agree with the curve, I just slapped it down in Photoshop. I don't like going too far into an idea without knowing for sure it is a good one. I had an idea of renaming it "inner beauty" and replacing the reflection with a reflection of a swan and that will probably be V2. Thanks again.

Here is a different idea I had, kind of a play on the ugly duckling, but in a more introspective play on inner beauty. I fixed the curve of the bottom of the duck and shaped the head a little and changed the duck reflection to a swan.
