I had Mr sun with a happy face watching the boy but that's pretty much irrelevant as far as the composition is concerned.

It seems a little small, and I agree text needs some work. It could probably look a little more chalk like and angled so it looks like it is on the same plane as the boy.

Its a cool concept, but I didn't get that the boy wrote the text until I had a third look at it. Still out of hundreds, this caught my eye because the graphics are so cool!
