ha! i love the composition, but i think it needs a bit more context or visual explanation. not sure what to add right now.

I like the idea, but I think the rockets on the boots or the 'rocket boots' themselves need to be more clearly defined. Its hard to tell the rocket on the left is in fact a rocket.

I'll make them stand out a but by making them silver and red and the cowboy will be dull colors compared.



I think I'll add some "fins" to the rockets to make them more pronounced, and twin plumes of smoke are already planned as well.

any other suggestions to make the theme a little more obvious?

I failed to mention, the silver on the bolo and the rockets is supposed to be silver ink as well.

I would say make the smoke more like what you have in the sketch.

thanks. I will try some other colors, as well as lighten the tone of the red shirt so it doesn't blend into the maroon as much.
