hey ill comment...im having the same problem. Ok so i really like the artwork of the moon lander but the whole super man thing just throws it off the circle in the S isnt working. Also its definate trademark issues. I would play around with the circle mabye being a planet or a moon? and definatley put it on a black shirt instead.

As far as this design goes, I see what you're going for but something isn't clicking completely.

I like the the reflection in helmet and the colors are cool.

Overall I think it's a hard concept to sell. There's a lot of things going on and some of it is too abstract. I assume a bunch of people are going to see the super guy thing right away, then they'll start getting confused by what is going on in the center. I thought there was a cup of coffee in the middle when I first saw it.

Just my 2 cents. I want to see where you take this. It seems like you can change stuff pretty quick too. Keep it going.

Maybe it is a hard concept to sell... Is it a fat white bird? Is it a movement-impaired robot? No... It's SPACEMAN!! Doesn't quite ring the same as the original :P



And as for trademakr issues, I dunno, it's pretty far removed from the original, it's not the same colours or anything... In my own opinion. *need trademark lawyer here :P*



I think I can make the background black, and maybe add more detail and "space flair" to it all, but the concept is what this is and... well~~~ that's that.

well if your going to stick with the S then i would suggest having the horizon of the moon and the black shadow at the bottom to line up with it like you had a little more in version 1.

also even though it was slightly confusing i liked the hand in your older versions you did really good art work on it. can i ask what the "i" is for in the top right?

I guess it is a bit too much like an I... it's supposed to just be an antenna or something sticking outta the Spaceman's backpack... The usual kinda thing.

Iiiiiit's... SPACEMAN!

No I liked the brown better. and yeah the whole attena thing went completley over my head. Also I totaly just saw that its an astronaught and it took me forever to notice. Before I just thought it was some wierd ball ontop of the super man symbol. Also the hand just made sense and became alot cooler i think if you made it bigger and slightly overlaped his face the astronaught will be easier to see.

anyone also have trouble seeing the Spaceman vs the S?

Oh i also dont like the sun i would just get rid of it all together.

saw the spaceman just fine! i dig the design except the colors in the center piece, i think it would look rad as blues and greys (moonish). i do love me some retro colors from time to time though.

It's a beautiful design, but I agree it's a little hard to read (for me anyway). I don't have a problem with the colors at all though.

I like it but, maybe less elements in the center and work a little more with the colors. Maybe a moon in the center, or a known constellation, or a close astronaut... something.

I couldn't understand the center image at first sight, I had to read the name of your artwork.

I really like the design.



It took me a little while to realize that the surface of the planet was a continuation of the letter S.

Now that I see it, the image makes a whole lot more sense. Maybe you could change the color of the planet to something a little closer to the color of the S.



Besides that, it's looking great so far.

Aah, I didnt pick up on the 'S' going through the circle until I looked back at past designs where this is demonstrated more clearly. I dont think the colour is helping this. Not keen on the pink.

Really cool design though.

As for the sun / highlight / shine bit – I like it.

i really like the colours on this one verion best and how the moon works in to the S... but i keep thinking superman not spaceman.
