Its a cool idea and I have no idea what the original one is lol, so I guess there isnt anything constructive I could tell you to do lol - thanks for the critique
OK, you've been here since August, get an avatar already. You can't really enjoy being undistinguished, unrecognized, and surely thought to be a newb? :P
I looked at your work, Zebra was a sensational idea, scored higher than most of mine, and if you put a bit more TLC into the rendering it might have been printed. You might want to think about redoing that one. The range target was an easy lift, throw it into a sub and see if it sticks. It needed a bit of wit like the zebra concept.
As far as this sub is concerned, all I can say is that if you're going to spoof a wining threadless design you'd better do it in a big way. If the person (bearded man/lady) you've drawn is being sucked down the drain by the hair on his/her armpits than he/she should have arms thrust out and holding onto the tub sides for dear life. That would be funny and a true spoof of the original merging woman and water concept (or a funny concept unto itself if you did it in your own style as a non spoof).
Anyway, just my take on things, not to be taken as the end all in advice. =]
i just might redo the zebra thingy (would love to get move advice on that)
about this design u are quite right, i'm not really good at drawing humans so i used the hair ( beard in your case) to cover out most of the facial expression.
Meaning, the zebra nose is poorly done in comparison to the rest of the drawing. Also, difficult to do, but he should be facing the chart a bit more, seen more from behind him. back of the head
The eye chart is really the fun part and the cue to what's going on, so maybe he doesn't need his hand over his eye, just looking at the chart might do. Also, the chart should just have predators on it, (no sword fish, ostrich etc.) that's the joke. Maybe add a tribe's man with a spear, hyena, wild dog, crocodile, vulture, etc.
Whatever you do, don't lose the style of the drawing, most scorers liked the simplicity of it. Lastly, don't comment on every comment you get when it's up, let the comments roll on for awhile, scoring is not critique, the die is cast you can't change the sub once it's up.
I will not submit this until i get the approval of huebucket or by majority of the voters.
P.S. : This is not meant to offend anyone.
