The perspective on the shaddow needs to be fixed (make the left ear smaller than the right while keeping the right the same size as it is now will fix this). Also, the overall style is too pixely.

Anyways, if you can't do that, just go out and buy it. If you can find an educational version it's only like 100$ compared to like $600. It is an good investment if you would like to continue designing.

not sure what the idea behind it is

I like it better without a shadow or a shadow directly under the cat

the idea is basically that a cat is wearing a mickey mouse hat and does not like it



the shadow was initally to enforce how the cat looks like a mouse because his shadow is a mouse.

yeah, I got the mouseshadow but it looks kinda hard, maybe a lighter grey? He looks more annoyed with the viewer than with the hat.
