A 7-color design. There are 11 city skylines. Since most skylines are photographed as silhouettes (black) over a rainbow color sky, I thought I'd invert that... Sky is black, and the skylines are in rainbow.

Maybe I can title it something else. Like "The 11 Symphony Skylines"

I looked around too, but didn't see anything a like. I saw a few attempts at Skylines, but nothing this close. So I dunno. Threadless like thematical tees, so the idea has been done before, but I like the double effect of soundwaves and skylines.

I'm sure I'm selling in a bit to Threadless type of themes. But I guess I need to try some more popular types of designs, because some of my unique, personal ones haven't done as well as I wished.

I was thinking of changing the title of this design.



"The Soundwave Skylines"



I was wondering for artistic reasons, if to extend the grey bar up to the collar. But it might complicate printing, since the image is already large. So I kept it closer to the wave format type editors.

Keep in mind you only have room for eight colors, I see around nine.

I did the design with the eight colors in mind.



1. Red, 2. magenta, 3 Purple, 4. Blue, 5 Turquoise, 6. Green, 7. Yellow, and 8 Grey.



The colors are then converted, so they look like more than is.

converted=inverted, but still using the same ones.

but the top inversion of the red looks a bit darker than the other blue, I'd check it just to make sure

Your idea is arguably better, but you may want to change the silhouettes more to make it more original.

I'm going to check the colors, but I think what is creating a different color effect is the grey bar. I remember studying colors in school and when you add red and green over grey, it appears to change the color tone. Illusion effect,



I didn't do it on purpose, but I think that is why it appears different tonalities.
