I think he would look better with his hands out from in front of his face. His face is being hidden, so you can't really get the effect of his longing for affection.

I don't like the font used for hug. I love hedgehogs and this one is cute but it almost needs something else.... i don't know

I think it would be great if you could get the idea of 'hug' across without using the text. The text just distracts from what is a nice drawing.

maybe make his little stubby arms outstretched to the side? it'd make the face easier to understand, and get across the idea of a huge more clearly as well. also, maybe try the image above the text?

I agree with most of the above. The word hug is a shame, but if you decide to keep it, maybe it should be in another font.



I find the hedgehog extremely cute the way he is, but what if he had a bit longer arms with open palms and maybe a small smile and open naive eyes as if expecting a hug, not knowing that he is prickly.
