They look fierce. I love the colours. Not so sure about the green though. Maybe you could use the shirt colour for those parts. Then you would have only eight colours.

Are they fighting over the pretzel?

You can't have a gradient as a colour, only flat colours can be screen printed. Try using half tone for shading

I love the illustration, but I think you could get bye with fewer colors. I think to get something printed with 8 screens, they have to LOVE it.

also, the perspective on the rat bugs me a little compared to the ground and the pretzel. Maybe if you put in a 2nd foot on the other side of the tail it'd help

Hi! I'm not sure, but I think it would look better without background. Though it is good enough : )

I think if you place the pigeon slightly closer to the right it'll look more convincing that it's diving for the pretzel. Just a suggestion, otherwise I think it's a very impressive design.

Interesting concept and nice execution but the rat tail is far too long and creating a conflict with eye movement. Action is typically portrayed with diagonals, with the pigeon & rat we have a starting diagonal, but the tail is interrupting it. Make the tail go behind the rat, and curve it slightly up, to keep our eye going in a repeated circular motion: pigeon, rat, pigeon, rat, etc.

Also, I'd consider actually making the pretzel more connected between the 2 opponents. Have them playing tug of war over it in the rat's hands and the pigeon's beak.

i was thinking of making the tail go below, towards the bottom of the shirt.. maybe that will work.. thanx

The DRAWING IS GOOD, THOUGH THE FACE OF THE DOVE HE LOOKS LIKE A BIT WALT DISNEY, THE background DOES NOT STAY WELL WITH THE DRAWING, THEY DO NOT REMAIN CLOSE(UNITED).

LUCK.

Like the illustration and how you incorporated the background.

Like the color palette, but I agree that you could probably reduce the colors, I also agrre that the rat tail looks too long and I think should be more curved in the middle section with a wider curve at it's base. Right now it looks painfully bent near the rat's body. Nice jobe on the design.
