Hey guys, this is my new WIP and it's called 'Caught Mimming'. I tried to give a clean look, using colours in the mimes and strokes in the scenario. I think looks great on a white t-shirt! What do you think about it? Any help/suggestion is welcome! Thanks!

Well, the other pair of hands it's part of the joke. I'd like to think he was caught in the middle of a nasty mime-orgy... :)

Should I get rid of the other pair of hands? Or maybe left just 3 hands (1 on the elbow, 1 on the right arm and the other one squeezing his ass?)

well the part that doesnt make sense is that there is no one with him.. so I would take out the extra two hands. or show some of the other mime that he is supposed to be with.

But there is no one with him. It's a mime kiss! You know when a mime is simulating a kiss? He show his back and simulates he's kissing someone else using your own hands!

galera, he's the deal: the mime is not actually kissing anyone. or maybe he is, who knows. the funny thing about this design is that he was supposed to be simulating a kiss, and if he was just simmulating, there would be only 2 hands (his hands). but there are 4 hands, so he might be kissing someone else and his girlfriend is heartbroken because she saw all of the 4 hands, instead of only 2. anyways, i love the concept of this one. i think the idea is funny and the way it was executed turned this design into a very classy shirt. very simple. as we all know: less is more!

Oh God, you almost nailed it nanica. But you're wrong. The mime is simmulating a kiss, cause that's what mime's do! So, he get caught by his girlfriend, she saw him simulating a kiss with "someone". In the "mime's world" he is kissing someone, he's cheating. The other 2 hands is just a joke, means that he's having a lot of fun, it's nonsense, absurd... But if you guys don't get it, it means that don't works. Let's get rid of the other pair of hands. :)

I love this and I do get the other set of hands but it will be better without them.

I love the idea, but to me it's too much of a 'scene' to be on a t-shirt.
If you just had the two mime characters, the bench, and maybe the Eiffel tower somewhere in the background, it'd take half the time for people to figure it out.

Hey Fruitcake, that's why i use only strokes on the scene! If you take a look at the placement you'll see that really works on tee :)

yeah you might not need the half tree on the left. otherwise it looks good. i wonder though if one of the hands could be on the waist rather than both on the shoulder. I also just noticed the couple in outline in the middle of it, Im not sure you need them.

I agree with Danielle, I think it would look better with the hand on his waist and hand on his right shoulder from V1. The couple in the back is kind of distracting, mainly because i have no idea what they're doing! Also if you took out the tree on the left it would be too right-heavy. If anything move the trunk more to the right and shorten the branch over the woman mime but it does look great on the tee, good stuff!!

Yeah, you're right Eric. If a took out the left tree, the right side would be too heavy. I think I will move the Eiffel Tour to left so I can balance the whole thing.

ooohh! hehe i get it now... That's a familiar sight in Holland too but i think a lot of people wouldn't get it, clever though!

I love this lots. I think you need to darken around the girl's face. It blends in with the back ground.

When i say around, I mean her outline. You can barelyyyy see it.

Yes, you're right again AA... there's a grey hairline, it's hard to see. I will change it :)

Maybe it would be more sprankling (I don't know if that's a word :D) if you'd leave away the Eiffeltower and everything around it.
Try to keep just the 2 mimeplayers & the bench and erase everything around it. That will make the message more powerfull and that way, you can go bigger in the format of printing.
So just 2 mimeplayers & bench and try to photoshop it on a shirt. That way you can see how it is in the true context!
Nice design though, really cute!

In my mind that would take away from the design. The mimes are already standing out since they are the only true colors on the shirt.

The Eiffel Tower... well... I just feel the need to give a French air (i don't know if that's is the word) to the whole design. I want it to be classy, soft and clean.

I like 3, and I like the eiffel tower.

I think number 1 is the prettiest.. And if you want to give it some French touch, you could give the left mimeplayer a Baguette (French Bread) in her hand.. That gives the feeling she could hit the other mimeplayer with it.
But it's a very big improvement without the unnecessary background! Keep up the good work!

Nice drawing and nice gag. I have one suggestion. The art work is quite wide and so will be quite small on a T-shirt. If you were to move the tower so it's between the people, move it up if it is in the way you would have a more T-shirt friendly shape. Ya get me? Good luck.
