Quality concept. I say the colors work as is. If anything, I'd make the brown a bit more solid, as I don't understand why you'd have solid leaves but a broken up trunk. It looks good, though, and is probably worthy of a sub. as is if you really like it.

great idea ... but i think if u can use realistic tree 's strokes to draw ur whole work , and a leaf instead of feather, it will be perfect

This definitely has potential. I would work on the texture a little more. Make it look more wooden/tree-like.

Here's the updated design, with a new, darker brown. What else would you need changed to wear this shirt? Thanks for the suggestions, keep 'em coming.

Somewhat I am lacking some contrast, or body on the Brown, wheras the leaves and the feather com out strong. You may try to texture the leaves with a transparent vain-structure (hope I spelled vain correct... huhu) to have some background blurr through there as wel. The look at the small picture tells what I mean.

For some reason I don't like the bird's claw it looks odd. I do like the design overall though.

what should the claw look more like. Rounded, sharp, bigger, smaller???

Cool idea!! I like this a lot but i think it would look even better if the design had a little more action in it. Right now it looks like it's about to land or take off. A flying dove shape would look better in my opinion, just google 'flying dove' for some good shapes, your concept is solid though and i also like the textured look. oooh and maybe have a few leaves trailing behind it.

yeah i was thinking about possibly adding trailing leaves. Great suggestion.

I really like this design. In fact it is one of my favorites that I have looked at. I do think that the claw seems to be different somehow from the rest of the design. I don't know why it just does. Keep up the awesome

Cool graphic, but you might try experimenting with different sizes and placements to make the design a bit more dynamic.
