Dancing and music is really awesome... so I wanted to create a piece that was kinda liberating and fun. Any feedback would be appreciated!

hmm. im gonna be completely honest because you said you wanted feedback. The illustration needs a lot of work.. and i made the mistake of having sharp corners on my first design as well.. i think the main thing to work on is trying to get this to fit on a shirt--losing the square outline would make a huge difference because the white would blend in with the shirt.. even then, if you could make the red sorta fade into the shirt better (maybe try a color halftone) it would help alot as well. Sorry for sounding so harsh. : ( but im tryin to help! I wouldnt have taken all this time if i didnt mean well.. keep workin on it..

I was thinking about that too.. I don't really know what a color halftone is, I'm pretty new to it all, haha. But I'll try it out.. if I can figure out how o.O

So here's another version. I cleaned up the boombox a bit, and then got rid of the border on the shirt. More feedback would be nice.



Honestly, is this even a good concept? My last critique I had a lot of "Don't submit", without any feedback.

definately looks better without the border. The cloud forms are very weak. Draw them deliberately, they look half-hazard at the moment. The musical notes don't match the rest of the piece. because they are slightly 3 dimensional (those little highlites, lose those) and reshape them into a more whack, or original interpretation.

What do you mean by drawing the clouds deliberately?



I'm gonna work on the notes too, just thinking of some more ideas I think, far from submission for now.
