So I thought I'd try out this critique lark.... super super super preliminary drawing & layout. Any suggestions on other famous dinosaurs I could use or ways to make the layout work (at this stage it might be too similar to laserbreads pending kangaroo print to ever be considered).

i like the idea, but i think it would work better with more comical dinosaur names. like instead of t-rex you could name it smallarmosaurus and the blue one (which im assuming is dino from the flintstones) could be like dinosauros flintstoneus or something like that. and id get rid of the person, doesnt fit much.

Comments Appreciated:

i don't think you need the person either because the joke really mostly relies with the dinos looking up to godzilla's gargantuan foot!

i really had no idea who that yellow guy was until i read the legend and even then i just vaguely knew so i don't know if that's just my issue or not.

the only problem i see compositionally though is where dino, barney and the rex are all over one another, i would like to see them a bit less overlapped. (or maybe just differently)

The idea is a parody of one of these:

theres usually always a human for the purposes of comparative scale.

also... they all DO have sorta comical names, bar the T-Rex, but admittedly I'd have to work on them (dino from the Flintstones was apparently a Snorkasaurus).

oh i see. well i think my only issue with the person is how clueless he seems about the foot above him. maybe if he was reacting to it as well he wouldn't seem quite as 'out of place' ?

are those real dinosaurs?
Haha, I like the idea, but I'd like to see a neater version when you do it : P
