This version has shading on the skull bubble and the spinal column, version one does not, please let me know which (if any) you prefer.

try not using prepossessed color, solid fill is a lot better for your design, remove your processed color shading and show us your image with solid colors

I didn't mean get rid of all the color, I really liked how you used dots to shade the hippo in v1 and 2.

what I meant in my last post, was to not use the processed color, but still keep to color there.

shade with dots=good

shade with gradient=not as good

I'm not sure if if I'm describing this right or not...

I may mock up a solid color and a solid with the half-tones later as well.
