This is my first major design. . .what think you all?

i think the idea, its clever, i think it needs some polishing up, but im not an expert myself yet. maybe it just needs more detail or something. anyhow, nice work.

looks a little flat at the moment, also not sure about the text.

is it the hat?

flat as in no depth

is this type of design right for threadless?

the placement needs to be lower down slightly so that the heart isn't so close to the neck...might make sense if it's whereabout our hearts are...maybe make the design smaller on the shirt too...try adding some shading too to really bring the robot to life

maybe change the text to...'a heart of tin is hard to love with...' make it a bit snappier

the black background really brings out your design.

wonderful use of font.

I really like it.



all I can think of to modify it is to shrink the whole image just a little, shifting just a little to the left to center it a little better, and bring it down to about 4 finger widths from the bottom of the collar.

like the idea..no text tho..just an idea: but what if you had a smaller (whole) robot at the bottom left hand corner of the tee with his head down, leave the heart where it is?? maybe, maybe not...thanks for the crit on my design too..

It's quite difficult to work with the text. That's what I am struggling with at the moment n thanx for crit. on my one.

Try and put a heart shaped hole in his chest and place the heart below the robot to make it look as if it fell off like a spare part or something, that way it could work without the text and u'll be able to get the idea thru. Just my opinion. :)

I personally think you should hand-write the text...it would make it more unique.

and maybe have the head of the tinman slightly tilted and a bit lower than the heart...then the text at the bottom.

good idea but no text. makes it seem like one of those shirts that people wear that have those stupid phrases on them yk what i mean...but i dont really know how you could do it without the text hmmm...

you could make the tin man full bodied with a tin heart on his chest saying "it's hard to love with a tin heart," but more handwritten, and with a wordbubble around it
