I'm not sure what direction to take with this stylistically. Any advice on that front would be greatly appreciated.

Interesting use of colour... I don't particularly like the aesthetic of the banana-moon and I don't think the blue kite adds much.



Also you are using too many colours.



Not sure about the hat on the planet... the other planets look good though.

I think without the blue kite and instead have the string/holding thingy dangling would be better: the kite he is strapped to is the "villian" or source of fear/challenge and would be beneficial to the look of the design to.

You know what. I would really but this if you got rid of the kite things, the hat on saturn?, and make the moon more round instead of crescent.

The blue kite, if you leave it in, needs more detail. And the lower blue planet - her face needs to be turned to be slightly more upright.

Direction? Can you do retro-space? Like light blues, greens, etc? I'm a sucker for the future of the past...



Another option- ditch the planet with a hat, def. Then make the guy flying a kite in space. Black background. Simpler color scheme. I favor blues personally. Give it a dreamy, When-you-wish-upon-a-star feel and you might have something that could go to print.

i think that maybe you should have the moon flying the kite although it might take away from it ut it would be easier on the eyes that way its a cute kids shirt i think :)

i think the moon should be tilted counter-clockwise just a bit.

i don't like how the kite seems a bit devious...i would like it better if the kite had a cute little happy expression on its face.
