This is my second design, currently 5 colours. Just simple colouring at the moment. Checking out what you guys think of the design. :)

it says 'morning fried brain' right? the first word isnt really legible. i think the steam should just say 'my brain is fried' or 'fried morning brain'. or even; 'brain fried morning'. anyway, its a lot different to your other, much more trippy. well done. i'd wear this on a tshirt if the brain took up a lot of the space. loving the purple, be good to see that maybe on a light green tshirt. the greys working quite well as well though.

Posh- It was warning, fried brain, but yeah, I can see legibility is going to be a problem. My other tee is very girly so I wanted to make one that would appeal to a wider audience. Green is a good idea, shall try it. I think I'll be reworking the steam anyway as I'm not really happy with it just outline either. The whole thing is a certain style though so I'm not sure if changing the steam so it looks more steam-like would then make it stick out like a sore thumb?

I like the outline of the words as the steam; it gives something extra to the design; not noticable by the first glance a the design. However morning is somewhat illegible so you could make it a bit better; but not to the point of comepletely have it stick out. i do also think it would stick out if it were more steam like, the way the outline is matches the brain/pan.

I can read the "arn" in warning. The rest is difficult, but mainly the first letter throws me off. I think it adds to the design to have the steam words so it's worth a redraw. How's the placement going to be?

You should make it a little more...err...brain-shaped? Does that make sense? A little rounder, I guess. Other than that, I think it's fine. :)

Why oh why aren't the initial comments showing up?? Grrr.. Anyway what I said was that the lines are now squewed off to make it more trippy on your eyes, don't know if its good or not. Added some more colours to give it greater depth. Took out the word 'warning' and filled in some of the steam. What do you guys think?

i like it on the blue jean. And you may wanna tweak with the writing some more. Fried looks like Fribo to me. and maybe brains instead of brain.

it'd look great if the pan was a tealish blue, and if the brain had a brighter pinkish purplish color, and if the smoke thing was a sorta dark grey color, and if u moved the color away from the outline more to make it more obvious, and if the outline was a dark blue, and if it was printed with water-based ink on a white shirt, and if the print was a bit scratched and faded...



but that's just my suggestion... otherwise it's fine... great job. just fix the "fried" it's kinda hard to read...

I like the writing and the idea, but the pan's colours don't seem right and the brain (IMHO) would look better without all the eyes and stuff - just like a normal brain. :)

it looks great on the blue & maroon, not so on the red, for me...

the design is excellent, it's a little hard to tell that it is a brain though, it looks like fine Kinglon cuisine to me.

very nice improvement over the fisrt version. what about making the brain more pink and the background darker? a dark blue for example. te steam could be darker too, dark grey.

other than that, I really like the concept. Nice work. I'd remove the thing coming out of the pan though. BTW' thanks a lot for the nice comment on my latest.

The "ed" in fried are smashed together a little much, but I didn't even notice at first glance since I filled in the blank mentally. I miss more of that purple color on the brain. Looks too yellow now. Tone down the highlights, but don't get rid of them. Maybe add a little highlight to the steam since everything else has a second color?

i like the comments on this. I think personally that the colors could be experimented with. I also think that it is creepy and need a creepy salad fingersy like edge almost to it. Make more sketchy lines in the brain and instead of those dumb faces make like screaming faces like its frying. Also have the pan be a little less flashy and more symmetrical. You also have red in places you forgot to fill in the color and it shows through. Please critique mine and give it a vote. its called sitting rats. it is my first submission on here so i need all the feedback and tips i can get!

Doesnt look much like a brain. I love the writing concept, but tweak the writing of "fried".

Looks like an edible brain to me, great job on the art and enyoed looking at the text, but I think that the colours could be a bit more flashy, but otherwise this one is really a feast to look at.

Thanks for the feedback guys, shall fiddle more with the type, try it darker and grey and try making the brain a brighter colour. More punchy.

You might be interested to know I did do my research and drew it from an actual brain. My other critique should be coming into the submissions any day now too so keep an eye out.

try making the type using a 50% opacity or higher to replicate the steam or smoke or frying of the brain.

can you do that? can they print things with opacities?

i think blue better could you use lowercase letters for you type? might make it easier

Personally, the handle doesn't work well with the space around, and your text is illegible. try to avoid the pan.

Ola again, sorry it's taken so long. I've completely redrawn the steam and am a lot happier with it now. Let me know if there is Still problems with legibility. I like the new brain colours now. I tried making a sketchy effect all over but had problems so eventually just gave up on that avenue. Also added another colour to make it pop, with a hotplate shadow.

You might have to bite the bullet and flesh out the hot plate more. It kinda looks like blood or... something. I like where you're going with this.

creative and nice humorous touch to it, like it! Although I think you could experiment more with different color compositions and styles.

You should have just traced a photo of a fry pan, the perspective annoys me as it isn't stylized, it's not right. Also the composition of the entire design is sloppy, I think lose the smoke (the friend brain pun is easy enough for most people to get), and just move the fry pan up to the chest, and either detail the hot plate or delete it.

I like the style of the image. Maybe you could give the hotplate a more structured look? It would fit better to the rest of the design, because it's the only plain area by now.

Man, my favorite part of the origional design was the crazy type. The origional type looked very clean and refined, this one just looks generic. Work on making that type legible before you scrap it for this!
