how about if the balloon had a cartoon frog painted on it?

it's not clear enough. is the frog confused at why he doesn't blow away? does he think the balloon is another frog? i'm pretty sure that is what you're getting at, and if so i think you should somehow strengthen that idea.



also, maybe add a few lines to show the water under the lilly pad. i think even subtle white lines, like the lines you used for the wind, would work well.

It's cute, but I don't really understand the concept.

your cat, mouse design shows personal style and character. to be rather blunt i think this looks like clip art. if you're going to outline stuff with black vary the thickness of the lines to avoid this.



also it's a bit cutesey for me

not really sure i like the face on the balloon... maybe too literal. if you do put it, make it bigger with more muted colors and wrap it around the balloon. less detail might look beter; with the throat on the frog not perfectly round. siplify and soften the artwork a little.

just g removed some details, made the lines a bit softer and with diff thickness.

could you try adjusting the colors? these all look like they came from the default illustrator palette. I suggest you try some of the more muted pantone colors. Also the tee color seems a bit loud, maybe a lighter blue, denim, or olive?

make the bubble color either blend into the frog more or be a darker color

i like this better. i think a different shade of blue for the shirt might make the colors pop more too, that was a good suggestion.

i think on baby baby blue the line on balllon is not so visible plus maybe dark blue on war waves would be beter,,also why not red hearts?

Olive tee, but the baloon looks to oval for me. Makes me not beleive that the frog is in love with it if you know what I mean, Keep going with the idea though.

NIce - I think you whould make the frog green rather than brown (despite the colour of the one you are referencing), and make try his 'balloon as a yellow/green colour - maybe even a red. Use some artistic licence to bring it alive a bit! :)

awesome! but I cant help but feeling that the frogs..."balloon?" needs to blend back into its skin. JUST A LITTLE, becuase looking at the t shirt, its diffictult to tell what it is. Great job
