You could make a T-Rex coffee maker and they could do battle. Maybe add drop shadow or something. Besides that I think its pretty perfect.

Design-wise: Maybe you could give Toastyosaur an environment? Nothing too detailed, just something to show what's around him. Oh, and he should be plugged in if he's just made some toast.

I wondered if anyone would notice that emem, he's not plugged in because he's using solar heat collected by the plate on his head, he only needs to be plugged in when making people toast on cold, cloudy, winter mornings, probably.

one thing tho, the horns on the sides of the head are not proportional. The farther side should be smaller than the side nearer to the viewer.

More contrast!! Tweak some of the colors to make the difference in the crust and the toast more obvious. The shadows can be darker, the highlights can be lighter, etc.

I was wondering about the halftones... Do you need such a large shadow? Some of the hilights on his head are a bit strange looking, too. Actually... most of your shading is inconsistant. You might want to rework that...



I'd also say make him bigger on the shirt, add and environment, something foresty perhaps?

I forgot to say that it's really good and I think it has potential... lol

Choice. It's worth putting the effort in! Perhaps you should post a WIP picture of it in the main forums, it's hard to get decent crits over here and I'm sure that some better suggestions could be made.

it's a little boring, it could be offset a bit, just not dead center

It looks really great! I like the idea of an environment for your dino. I think that it would be cool if his head was the lever for pushing toast down. Just an idea, use it or not.

Toastyosaur version 6 is the same as version 5 but with added outline goodness,

do you think it makes any difference?

I like the dark lines in version 4, but the shading is looking good. I might like light outlines on a darker shirt, but I think it blends too much on this background.
