I agree. I know that's its downfall. I'm ultimately looking for something that doesn't utilize american iconography for the contest, but this idea popped in my head and I thought I'd have a go at it.

Very cool and I'm liking the subtle colours, great concept. You just gotta hope people give it the score it deserves because it doesn't punch you in the face like some of the other subt designs. 5$ for me.
