i'm digging the textures but this would be hecka funnier if the bird was pulling out feathers or dancing behind a feather fan

I think, she needs eyes and even though I like the background it looks a little bit to square on the Tee. Great textures.

Maybe just one black dot for the eye. I can understand the numb feeling you are aiming at but at the moment it feels like something is missing.

I would push it further by adding chicken customers sitting around it with dollar bills (or some funny chicken equivalent) scattered on the stage. This would break up the overall square look of the background. I think this could definitely go through with a little more work.

Well like olbeardy said, adding fans around the chicken would break up that squarish feel that may turn off the Threadless people and give a good transition from the very rigid floor to the t-shirt background. Kinda like how the wall of the image slowly blends in with the background.

I don't know if that helps at all..
