it's not really too clear on what they are on. is it a chalkboard? try to work on the characters a little more. maybe a desk would be better.

Also, you might make the ruler a bit larger than the others...and why the eyes on the wall behind the tools?

its not a wall behind them, but its a chalk board, and i'll try making the ruler a bit larger than the others

i made the ruler taller than before and i put some words on the chalk board to make more people understand its a chalk board.

Agreed draw the top line of the chalkboard, change it's colour and maybe add another line or two to give the frame of the chalkboard depth so it's more clear that it's a chalkboard.



Then change it to a single arrow pointing down at the ruler.



maybe add a piece of chalk there or a game of X's and O's on the board to add a little extra?

the shelf looks a little weird, I dont think you need it at all

The perspective of the shelf is off...the edges should be both be going out or both be going in the same direction, but not both coming inward. Get rid of the eyes on the chalkboard, make the chalkboard black, and draw an arrow pointing at the ruler. Add a piece of chalk.
