I increased the the size of the moon. The larger size looks better in the midst of all that blue.



I made the bears eye a little bigger also.

While some designs work as something simple, it seems like this one begs for more. Maybe you could add some more things around the bear, outside of the big, circular design to give it more of an organic feel.



One idea might be... since the negative shape outside of the bear's body almost looks like a moon itself, what if you rotated the whole thing slightly to give it more of a moon-ish impression and then added stars around it? This would also let you add more elements with yellow, and help lead your eye around the composition.

Good suggestions.



Its a matter of finding the balance between to much detail and not enough. I tried stars initially but they were very busy against the background of the wave.

I'm not sure about the fish. Is it in the sky or is he dreaming of it?

The bear is hibernating and dreaming of the salmon he'll catch when he wakes.

I like it on the brown it lends to the idea of the bear dreaming the fish. Its beautiful and I love your style. Good luck to you.
