Cool idea, but I think the kernel needs a bit more work...at the moment, it more closely resembles a drop of butter than a kernel of popcorn...although the butter might work, too.
If you get a chance to comment on my latest critique request, I'd appreciate it.
Much better, I'd work a bit on the red and white to make it abit more even and make the "individual" popcorn more visible, looks a bit like an undefined mass of white-yellowish something right now ;) But it's a great idea and with a few changes you'll get my $5
