I dunno. I think the tear is a bit overboard. The face is expressive enough and rest of the drawing tells the whole story. It's like you wrote "This milkshake is sad" on there. I say lose the text.
in this sketch both cups look feminine... that's cool and everything, i'm all for freedom of human/milkshake sexual expression.. just thought i'd put it out there in case you weren't aware... oh my how condescending that sounds. (sorry)
That boy in the cap, he is trouble. Do you think he had something to do with your own standuppage?
I think that the tear could work, if you could make it look like a drop of collected moisture running down the cup's surface.
I dunno, without an explanation, I don't really think that your illustration tells the story of your bad date.
both cups look feminine to me. I don't think you need to make it obvious that it's supposed to be a milkshake... it could be just as funny with a soda in the cup. Maybe put some curvy lines or something on the cups... something a little generic and decorative.
Umm...I'm reading it as two miss-shakes. The foreground one being jealous/upset/lonely because the background one is getting all the attetintion IE "bringin all tha boys to tha yard"
Of course boy or girl doesn't really matter...I mean it's all creamy deliciousness right?
Any thoughts... y'know, other than finish it?
