And it's really, really hard to tell that the bottom is a coyote/wolf. Is it missing an eye?

I think it just needs a clear emphasis. I would change the bottom red part to more muted colors, to give more presence to the things going on in the forest. Try adding some texture to the spirit bears. also, the head in the ground seems a bit stretched out (too wide horizontally).

You may try to add some really subtle silhouette trees to the background to add some interest ... it seems to be a bit empty.

I feel the same way the kaloman feels. I like it, but it needs more balance. You do need something on top to balance out the bottom. You could mute the leaves like the kaloman said or you could add a sun or moon above the bears to add a focal point away from the leaves.

I actually like how the wolf head is kinda wide, but you're right it does need more balance. I'll definitely work on it some more...

The bottom half of the image is so busy, but the top isn't. Give more detail to the bears and present it on a different color shirt, the brownish tan doesn't do anything for this. And more teeth going up the jaw! :D

Okay, so I added some texture to the bears, some more trees, and some more teeth on the wolf. I think it looks better, thanks for the suggestions!

I love the illustration, but put a little more thought into the exact placement on the shirt.

Right now it is off center, and because the T is stretched, so is the image on it. That makes it look funny.

yeah, I wasn't very careful when I put the design on the shirt in the corner, I'll definitely fix that before I submit. I just wanted to see it on the maroon shirt.

beautiful rendition and really good 2nd version. the center bear looks a little deformed. If it were not arcing back and more like the other two, though a different pose, I think it would appear more natural, like the rest of composition. I like brown, brings out the red.

The shape of the leaves/ground/wolf head looks rather strange to me. It's too wide. Love the rest of it! Brown is much better than maroon.

okay, I made the wolf head less wide and changed the middle bear a little.

Anything else I should change? what about the size, should it be any smaller on the shirt?

I like that (red riding hood?) appears to be floating. It kinda gives an 'oblivious to surroundings' look to it. Great work :)

thanks, all! yes the wolf head is missing a lower jaw and the red riding hood type figure is floating. I tried giving her feet at one point, but didn't like how it looked.

Keithcw, not sure what you mean by clarification... the leaves in the upper corner behind the shirt were taken from the full-size version, though, if you're thinking it looks fuzzy....

My only suggestion would be to make the leaves towards the bottom that make up the wolf head, a little darker so that it emulates a shading effect and there by giving the head a little more depth.
