you are in the right path,but need some work

On anything in particular or just "work"?

I think the color scheme is good. But maybe it will be better if the bear is more actively fighting the tree. Ha, yes! I will continue to talk to myself.

So this is the new version. I'm trying to make the idea more clear. In case it's too obtuse, I'm trying to design a faux movie poster. So what else does it need? Any input would be nice.

So it's still me talking to me. Well, hmm...the blood is too much, i think. please hear me out. it takes away from the cuteness of the bear. the cuteness of the bear and the detail of the tree and roots were the main strengths of the image, they REALLY drew the eye in and had an incredible line and composition that was remarkable in its understatedness, simplicity, detail and cuteness/morbidity. and i feel those things are obscured now by the blood, which is done in a less detailed way and really obscures how awesome those roots were. i cannot even see the roots really now. if you keep the blood, can you tone it down so that the bear and tree w (especially!) the roots remain the focus? like what if there was a pool of blood from the panda's head, but not in a way that messes w/ the roots/bear image? your tree w/ bear image honestly are so great, but w/ the blood that greatness is lost a lot... i don't even see the roots, my eye isn't drawn to it anymore... one of the things that was so striking about the bear/tree image was its tidyness, its very detailed specialness and its lines. with the blood, you have lost that quality, and it's not as cool to look at.



the overall suggestion being: don't forget the image that you started out with and why it was so awesome. enhancing that image is cool, but don't let the new stuff detract from your original awesome idea. one way you can notice how this is happening is if you look at the image very quickly and look away. what does your eye remember, see peripherally? in the first case, it was the panda/roots/tree detail and the structure of it, and that was incredibly compelling. now, the thing i remember is the house/barn. i miss the detail and wonderfulness of the tree/bear entirely, because they're blobbier w/ the blood.



also, the sublelty of the original image was its strength. w/ the blood, it's an overstatement. trust your original instinct!!!



and i think it would be important to change the font of the subtitles.

I prefer it on the color that the model is wearing but the green is a good color too.

that's right, I suggested to myself that I submit it. I think it's super cute. I have no idea if it's Threadless worthy. This forum has been crap for feedback. Seriously, "This idea is awful because..." would be nice.

This idea is awful because...the colors are horrid, the flowers are all copy/paste, and the illustration is not good.

finally, somebody...

I like the previous version. Maybe you can work on making the background objects more like background objects, the house seems to dominate in the image.

hmm... I think you might be right there. That's actually my favorite design so far too.

wow, this is really really strange...I like version three better, because of the interaction between the two bears, and I think this idea works better as a silly design than a mock horror design. If you are going to go back to version two, than I would try to get some of the colors and silliness of this version into it.

i think the bears need some work..i like the background in v2, but i do think it needs to be more a silly concept than a mock horror one.

the female bear needs stitching like the male...i think it might be funny if the male has a boquet he's handing to her and then one of the flowers is attacking her face and he has this look of horror...haha i dunno - it looked funny in my head ;)

cause im not so sure of the blue & salmon combo.

its okay if u dont put stitches on the female one, i think its fine as is

Hahaha i like this design very much!

My only suggestion would be to make the bear on the right (The one getting attacked by the plant) a bit fatter, make his side more rounded.
