The idea originated with thoughts of keytars... besises being genuine 'grown up' musical instruments, those cheap little guitar-shaped toy keyboards you can get are also called keytars.



Now, I was all for doing someone rocking out on a tiny keytar, but then I started reading about circuit bending, the practice of rewiring a toy to make it produce really weird tunes... straight keyboards are more commonly used for this and are generally more recognisable.



This isn't technically circuit bent as it doesn't have some oddball dial sticking out the side, but I didn't want to exclude those who just like playing with toys :p



Only things I see as fixed right now are the composition and position of the hands... I'm thinking of rendering the final piece in bright watercolors, to get across a retro playschool aesthetic.
