This is an idea I had. I really like how my last critque went so I figured I'd see what people thought of this idea.

woah, there's so much that can be done. the boxes can have a crown emblem for the queen. maybe a sign w/ a picture of a honeybear or a beekeeper w/ a NO emblem through it? flower wallpaper/tatoos? not sure what direction you're going w/ this yet.

I would like to get the honeycomb building right and have a lot of scaffolding and stuff i guess.

you could have a group of worker bees ogling the queen as she walks by, in true construction worker fashion...

i always get a good chuckle out of the "needs work" votes on rough sketches.

Ha, could be awesome. Just a random thought about it, maybe the main bee could have a thought bubble, inside the bubble could be a bear paw smashing or stealing part of their little city, hence they are reconstructing it. Nah, keep it simple.

hehehe.... it's real rough right now. ogling queen bee might be a good idea.

yeah, some bee hierarchy could be good.... Will the worker bees have low hanging jeans so you can see their butts partially? (hmmm, maybee better not)

The males are the drones and do nothing really but walk around the hive, eat, poop, and cross their fingers to have a go at mating with a queen. In the fall most of the drones are dragged out of the hive to die. Sorry to be a drag, but I want an informed public!

I agree with cool air theory.Make the bees more bee-like.I can hardly see that its supposed to be a bee.Funny idea though.

I wasn't really thinking about a gender when i came up with the idea. Wouldn't female worker bees need tools and stuff?



I gave up on this almost a year ago, maybe I'll try and do something with it...

After over a year of letting this idea sit around I decide that I could change up the original idea and make it more relevant for today’s economic environment.

I think you need to somehow portray the pun a bit better in the image. Maybe something like "worker-bee wanted" on the cover?
