lol, why is there a 'concealed identity' box over the sword guys face? This is funny! Play around with the placement? It seems find of large on he shirt. The blue POPs on the shirt ALOT, maybe take it off the bracelet. The glowing fireball could use a revamp, try something more organic? Scooby doo... lol! Your funny.

Really funny, I'm not in on the joke (never seen it), but it's a great in joke! :) Can't wait to see this one done!

Basically a cartoonist illustrated Mohammed with a bomb in his turbin and there was a big stink from the Muslim community because it's blaspheme to illustrate him per the Koran (or something like that.)

Sure, lean towards something that incorporates your style, that's hand drawn, and ties together with what she represents. :)

I get it and I love it! Great concept, and the art is just fine how it is. Maybe some tweaking on placement and other color options would be cool, but this is a shirt I would wear right now like it is! Move over Justice League, theres a new super group and this ones global!

The funny thing is that it is a blaspahmy to create any image of any prophet. Jesus is a prophet in the Qur'an so it should be just as offensive as a Muhammad but they just don't seem to care as much.



So let me see if I have all these right. Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha, Shiva and is that Apollo and Hera?



Why wouldn't you use Zeus? He could be in the back throwing bolts.

i actually laughed out loud on this one... which probably isn't smart given that i am at work. i like this a lot, i can't really find much on the design itself that I would change. it's more of playing around with shirt colors and placement now

It's a good start, I think, but they all look sort of frozen. It would really add to this if you worked on making their poses more dynamic, like they rushing forward or taking a swing. They look more like statues of deities than superheroes or crime fighters.



Also one thing to think about is that Buddha and Mohammad are not gods, so the title would not work for me.

Thanks for the feedback... it occurred to me this morning that I should give them all light sabres and thought bubbles with stuff like "Don't they get it? We're on athe same side!", "...fighting for the same side of the force" and "I told you we shoulda made em' smarter".

i don't think it would be as effective. right now you can basically tell who they are by what they are holding... although four light sabers for shiva would be pretty damn funny

slant the rectangle a bit on the concealed identity box.

and maybe put it under the sword?

As far as the slanting of the box, I'm not sure about the perspective but I'll try it - and move it behind the sword while I'm at it... thanks for the input!

Well, two days to go on the scoring... if I make a few changes, will threadless reconsider? The way it reads, it sounds like you have to turn in a whole new design.

I've seen many designed resubmitted, I don't know how the rules go on that though. Write a blog/post and ask the people that have been doing this here longer.



Just out of curiousity though, you posted in the critique to get feedback but then you submitted anyway without trying to implement any of the ideas that you made reference to being good ideas. It may have gone better had you been more patient with submitting it. Just a thought.
