The perspective from the floor and the rest of the figure looks off in my opinion. Also, you might want to make sure that all the lego pieces are actual replica pieces that they have. for instance, i'm pretty sure they dont have a slightly dilted single digit black lego piece like the one you have at the top of the bow.

thatoneguyjames, this piece has 2 digits, right? I will do it without the slightly dilted and preserve 1 digit. 98% of the pieces are real, i used several pictures as a reference. But i can't say that i'd expected it to look like a replica, it's an illo and not a photograph. And i think everybody gets the message looking at figure don't they?



Actually I know the floor perspective isn't great, i will redo it and add shadows! Anything else to add? Thanks for all the help!

And I don't think there's really a problem with 'Lego,' is there? I mean, the character's name really is Legolas.

I think it's beautiful. But without the text, I wouldn't get that it was Legolas. Looks a little chubby, somehow? Also, I would agree it seems a little to visually "heavy" for a corner print.

New version. I added the Legolas horse, (Hasufel i guess), shadows, changed some colors and the LEGOlas writing is now made with legos and it looks more... stylish?

Good grief, you've got skills. Very unique. It's a little tough to see the shirt placement, but I love it on both colors. Not sure if this is something I'd wear yet, but you've definitely got a $5 from me. :)

When we can see the shirt placement, I can tell better, but I think the drop shadow might be a bit much. Hard to say from this view, tho.

I'm not sure you need the large shadow, as it pushes the image unnecessarily to the right. You could make the shadows more angled so that they are shorter...otherwise, great job on the detail and colors, I like both options, with the brown better. This could score really high, based on past Lego designs (the good ones anyway).

It's really well done ^.^ I like it on the dark brown. For placement, either in the center I'm thinking or maybe in the bottom right corner?

You know, I don't think it needs it, rodrigo. Honestly. The line work is out of this galaxy. Angles are perfect. No one will have trouble placing it in space without the shadow. Also, I think the center placement works great. It's a design that does not require added interest [i.e. shadows, unusal placement].



Whatever you think, tho, man. Just my $.02. Great work.

Was the horse addition really necessary? I agree with what they said about the shadow. But so far it's a very unique idea.

ditch the word legolas from the shirt. if you do that, some people might not understand who is on the horse, i know i wouldn't. So, what you should do is make more characters and have a mega-lego war, without ever telling anyone who it is or mentioning legos.



still, however, it seems they don't want any link to LOTR, so you might think of something else using the lego idea... it seems really clever, and you'd probably get away with just doing a medieval scene with legos.

I see big piece of work. I have always been fascinated isometric view. Furthermore I like this joke about lego and legolas. Genius joke!

Only one thing bothering me.. combination of colors and shades.. first look and everything fine, but when I looked closely, I had the impression that something is wrong.
I thing this picture need more depht. More depth in a cape.
The bow and the horse hair should be different colours. Now its same colours. This makes the merge with each other horse and legolas silhouettes.

my only crit here, is that the vector art feels a bit weird...
