I've been kicking this idea around for a while now and I'm not really sure if it's worth pursuing. Please note, the tail is completely unfinished. There are two more segments to go. Also, some detailing is yet to be added.

perhaps pop the colours a bit? that's only a perhaps. and the purple base is not to my personal liking. whatever. finish the tail (duh) and sub...it's good to go

I definitely think this is an idea worth persuing. Perhaps you could work the color of the shirt more into the design. I see that you've done it with the faces and different colored eyes, it would be nice to see that carried out a little bit more. To me the faces pop the most and that's where most of my attention goes so it might be possible to miss some of the other great details. Can't wait to see it more completed.

It's funny, because I used to have more saturated colors on pacific blue and it just looked so kiddy and girly to me. I really like purple for the girly version, but maybe I'll do entirely different colors for the guys -- a shirt color of dakota slate, maybe.

I like the subtlely of the colours, and the whole design in general. The pyramids are my favorite part at the moment. Nothing I can think to criticize, good luck in the main Threadless contest :D

Finished the tail segments, added some detailing and introduced the shirt color into more places in the design. At this point I would normally make a template and submit, but with the critique feature I'm hoping to catch any potential snags before submitting. All comments are welcome!

hmm, not sure I like the purple...really nice job on everything else though. I like it a lot.



something that's bugging me is the building shadow on the right, it looks like part of the snake is missing because it's the same color as the shirt.



and maybe add some eyes? just a suggestion :)

I kinda like the idea of an eye too. Maybe make it a piece of fruit growing on the vine? and possibly having the vine extending a bit out of the mouth like it's tongue?

the color scheme is fantastic on the last one. it tokk me a minute or so to get what is going on, which might be more than the typical t-less voter is going to be willing to do, but there's not much i could suggest to improve it
