I like colors and idea, maybe the tree is not enough defined in confront to the deer and the bird.

Looks good to me. I was wondering if an extra colour should be added to the deer, nothing to take away from the bird but to at least distinquish it a bit from its antlers/tree branches. Good luck! :)

The design is good, but I think you should do something about the big grey border around your model. It draws too much attention.

I would define the branches a little more, maybe just a couple "leaves", less little twigs, but maybe one twig over the bird so that he isn't just floating on top of it.
