Sometimes, in the game of life, you have to veer off course.



Being a girl, I put myself in the driver's seat, but maybe they could change it up for boys.

I like the idea, but I think you could go further with it. right now it just looks like they are kind of driving off the road. you need to add something else so that it shows they are really veering off the path of life.

also it's extremely flat, it could use some texturing or shading in areas.

Cool concept. The chic should ABSOLUTELY drive. Agree with needing some shading though.

I love the concept! It took me a while to realise what game this was from, I'm not sure why. Maybe make it more game-ish? And jpiatt is right, by the way.

The dark greyish outline color doesn't really work with the rest of the colors (to me anyway).

Some of the colors should be distributed more in details, on the road or trees, etc on the side of it, because that's one of the fun things about the board, all the crazy inane details.

But I love the old school Life people, when they used to be just pegheads. :D

i think if you created a board and redid the composition it would improve it a lot.

I didn't get it at first until I read your comment. It's a really really cool idea, just expand it a bit more with all the above suggestions.

i like how simple it is.. agree that it looks more like they're driving off the road rather than abruptly veering. I really like the concept though and the sky/sun shape is perfect as well..

Interestingly the driver's seat is different in Australia.. so good idea to have both versions then.. I like the idea and I think what might make a difference is if you added some symbols on the road.. So that people can relate it to the game the game of life but at the same time that don't stand out too much..

I'm giving up on this for the day. Feedback would be awesome if you can spare it.

I think that that is a much better design than your first one. A spinner might help, too. I'm assuming the car looks the same as the first one. I do like it though.



I think that the green is good, and you might could even do with some "writing" (Although I wouldn't put actual words in) on some of the squares, and maybe a white building or church or something.

I would love any feedback at all!

The perspective bothers me in this one - maybe you're attempting to be 'off course' but I'd prefer to see the whole thing either bird's eye view or the angle of the car (with the whole added tracks). The bev might be easier to do.

I like the addition of the board layout, but I feel that the car looks a little lost. The sunset is too far away from the car in V2. The placement of the car & the sun was killer in V1. Props for putting the girl in the driver's seat.
