I love the concept and the style. I would tweak the face just a little, maybe a little more smile. She looks annoyed right now.

Like the expression not sure on the colour scheme maybe something more natural ?

Beautiful work. i love the color scheme. However i'm not sure it says lust... i see the hearts in the eyes *nice touch* but when i think of lusting i don't think i would turn my back to it - so tree placement maybe?

very cool. great great colors. everything takes part in the concept. like everyone said - expression is'nt clear. if the chia (?) is playing hard to get than she does'nt need hearts in her eyes and I'd make the tree lean longingly towards her...

or the other way around - she should stop being a bitch and show what she feels.

I'd suggest toning down the face by using the darker tone already established by the shadows to make the joke slightly more subtle.

Thanks for the comments. I'll work the face more. My impression of the Chia's face was more like..."How you doing..."

But obviously it doesn't come across that way, so I'll fix it some.

Fixed mouth and added a more interesting love interest.

ha ha love the "come here" motion by the plant.

I too like that little motion. The face seems still a little off to me. But its acceptable.

I dont know. I liked the first tree better because its texture kind of looked like the chia's wool. It added to the joke. the bonsai tree adds the japanese element which kind of clutters the concept

Hopefully the Chia Pet has less of a Stink Eye. I added a few more shadow details.



I am wondering about the Bonsai tree. I wanted more of an exotic elegant House Plant here because Chia Pets are indoor plants. It feels more right that using an outdoor shrub for her love interest.

I dig it, it's neat. I definitely like the improvement on the expression. That eyebrow was just too angry haha.

I added a watering can to the background. Do you think it's needed?

How about the placement of the image on the shirt? Is it ok where it's at or move it back to top center?

I agree i don't think you need the watering can. Like the rest of it though.
