Each week I will remix this design until the years end.
I\'m calling it The Remix Weekly as I\'ll be uploading my latest remix every Monday.

The remixes will be loosely guided by critique comments, so think of this design as a caterpillar which can gradually transform into a butterfly. Looking to produce around 35 remixes until the end of the year.

Hopefully I\'ll learn some new things, we\'ll share a few laughs and we\'ll discover a new style of t-shirt design that can be unlocked in the critiques.

This is a great idea and sounds like fun! First week: It looks like a tree turned upside down!? My suggestions: I think you should loose the tree trunk which is way to heavy and I don't really like the bark texture. Also there is something (right under the trunk) that looks like a type or font. I quote all the people screaming: 'Without the text please!'. If you take these two out your design will look like Aquarius' beard with a nice flow to it. I like the colors! I'll drop by next Monday...

Tonteau - Maybe, I'm just aiming to submit a design at the end of the year. All these remixes are created as t-shirt designs but it's mostly to learn, have fun and create some interesting graphics.

C Kid - The tree trunk was placed in early so it always felt immovable. In the next remix I'm looking to shake things up so I can't see it looking similar.

This week sees a change from black to white, the subtle reds in the previous remix were used to create painterly strokes that provide a flesh wound for the white and weathered paper peel. This remix also sparks the change from using photographic texture to a more drawn style, which hopefully I can remix with more complexity and detail next week.

I like the look of the original or week one. I think that this design seems like it's missing variation it's like Black, light color, lots of color and then circles. More variation, not necessarily complexity. I love this idea it has lots of potential and lots more of comments to be made.

Very nice i like it maybe the inner circles and figures coloured completely and the fringes of the image with blurred colour ?

This week is a new beginning. If all the other weeks were to experiment with visual remixing then the coming weeks are about simplicity and ideas.

Dig the hand a lot. I'd like to see some more detail on the leaf. Either that or simplify it a bit.

This week's remix keeps the recurring hand theme alive by sniffing out the scent of a tree.
Next week I'm focused on using small simple shapes to create entire designs.

Keeping with the simplicity concept, this week I used basic shapes to create a character.
Next week I'll turn this into a funny design using the medieval theme.

This week I continued using shapes. The horse/unicorn didn't turn out how I envisioned and a proposed dragon never eventuated.
Over the next few weeks I'm focused on a Lollapalooza sub, so I'll use the remix weekly as a place to mash it up. I want to do something similar to Week 1 but using hand drawn pieces and lots of colour. Also I've been using SketchUp, so I'd like to incorporate 3d elements into it.

This week I'm working on my Lollapalooza sub and the resulting animation that I'd like to include in my submission presentation.
I've just been playing with some colours and shape formations. Definitely considering an orange shirt after producing some catchy colour-ways.
