Nice! But it bothers me a bit that the left car is folded over the seam and is only partially visible on the front. Is it an idea to move the whole image a bit to the right?
This turned out really good. The only thing i'd suggest is having a center option shown. I can say from personal experience that a lot of people will ask for one, and it may just help your score a little if you show that as well as the wrap around. Nice work on this.
Thanks guys, the problem with the center option is that it will have to be scaled, but i will show it anyway. The design is quite long so is it possible to do a (complete) wrap around where the design goes over both side seams? If not the cars will have to stay more to the left so they don't overlap both seams. But if it is possible then i would like to add some spectators.
Love the photographer! Looks really good. still not sure about the text in the background though. I still say you should try doing it by hand. Otherwise it a 5
Thanks choc, the text are sponsor logo's, they are printed on the wooden board. I did it by hand but it looked weird. Anyone else have an opinion on this? Also wrap around or front placement?
Eric, Thats looking great! What is the text on your Logos Racing Giant and Epic? I think that they are great, but a bit difficult to see in the moving pic! I would go for the front placement definately, and I would maybe suggest a khaki or dark green shirt.
lol, yea i used my initials EMD Tires. I made a 'Threadless Automotive' logo too but it didn't make the cut. In my first sketch i had burnout marks on the road, should i add those on either side of the woman or would 4 black lines be too much?
i love it but i'd make it more compact. i'd put the onlookers in the background between the two cars, and i'd make the woman more vintage. swimsuit like knickerbockers all the way to her knees and a swimming cap.
Thanks d3d, i would really like this to be a wrap around design, that's why i made it panorama (i was even thinking about adding two more people on the back). But if the majority likes the chest placement then i would make it more compact. Oh yea, this is my first attempt at a flash presentation!
You bring up a good point gumbo, somehow i didn't think of the max printing width. This is obviously more than 15in, i guess if it gets chosen they can scale it down to 15in wide or just stick with the chest placement. I'm going to post one more flash presentation (this one is very low res).
nope - don't wrap it around. I'd like to see a more compact composition as d3d suggested. But as it stand i would $5 this - I really really want this shirt. I would buy two just in case i ruined one.
The design looks great. You should slow down the Flash sequence, so that a viewer can see some of the details on a big scale. Or have the image move at the beginning to appear as a drag race, and then with the click of the mouse it can stop and position to view.
eladear, thanks but my flash skills aren't that great, when i slowed the fps it got jumpy, so this will have to do for now. I can always post a link to the original.
MG i subbed it yesterday, hopefully it will be up by next friday.
Really nice design! I like your style a lot. Personally, I would prefer the wrap around to reach around to the front more - but I think your design might be a little too short for a wrap around. Fantastic! glad it got subbed
