Maybe have a bunch of monster shadows surrounding her from the top or something, that would be TIGHT.

I think the colors work well. Maybe you could add something in the background that is scary or unsettling that makes the rabbit more paranoid?

if you add scary stuff to the background that wouldn't be paranoid that would be being afraid. maybe just an apartment that is all taped up and ready for something to happen and the bunny is just standing there waiting. right now its just kinda plain.
