I was thinking maybe about putting the dyslexia comment on it, but I didn't want to ruin it with text. I think i'll add some grass tufts too.

If you add tufts, I think you should just make them part of the top of the oval--running behind the cow. I think explaining the joke would help. Maybe make it small and formal looking at the bottom to offset the look of the drawing,

maybe something like "dyslexia transfers to the animal kingdom"?

So I made a few changes with this version. What do you think. I'm trying to hold off on adding the text unless its absolutely nessecary.

It's quite a good idea, but without seeing the title or an explanation it's hard to see the joke, maybe if he said "omo" instead? At the moment it's sort of backwards

And why the cactuses? I feel like there should be a barn or a windmill instead.

So I'm trying out this flash presentation. I made some nice changes: added spots to the cow, put in a white picket fence instead of the cacti, and put a little cloud up above everything. Still no explanation text... still hoping I can do without it...

Comments? Suggestions?

i like the added fence and cloud, but the green oval seems to flat, add some grass in the negative space of the bottom of the oval like you did with the fence posts, the presentation goes a little fast, and when you zoom in the animation should stop until you zoom back out

hmm yes, the animation is far too fast... it didn't do that on my computer when i made it :S I didn't actually add the zoom thing, it was added automatically by threadless.

I'll try the negative space grass tufts tomorrow.

put some more grass on the green oval and add some more detail to the cloud something small maybe because everything on the picture has some kind of little detail like the dots in the fence and the cloud looks different to the rest of the picture.

and who cares about the animation its not like its going to move on the tee lol!

What I meant in my previous comment about the eyebrows was, the cow must seem sad and vulnerable and somehow confused at the same time. I think two straight lines with a slightly-upward angle would work. Currently, it looks kind of a bad ass.

Smaller tufts on the feet. And a larger text would be perfect. I think the cloud must go.

Well I made a few slight changes with this one. Added some more grass tufts, planted a few daisies. Also changed the cow's expression to be "sadder". Raised the speech bubble a little higher.

I've had mixed feelings about the cloud, but I kind of like the different look to it compared to the rest of the drawing. I think when its on a shirt, it ties it all into the shirt better...

I like this version the best. The message is clear the art is cute and professional. I think it's time to leave it up to the people. Good work. Actually show it on a shirt first and then you'll know for sure.

For those of you who want to see the placement, here you go:

T-shirt Placement

It's nicely drawn, and could definitely work as a kids shirt, but without the title I would have never got the joke. The only way I could see possibly improving the joke would be to put more dyslexic animals in the design. Like a farm scene. But of course that's just my opinion.

The background is much better. I have to say I agree with Leroy though - you should include more animals to fully establish the concept. That way you won't need to rely on the title.
