I don't like the guitarist outline. and the grey doesn't work as well on the olive color though I do like the olive color better.

i prefer the white center from version 1, and the bars going out from version 2. combine these and i think you have something real strong.

can someone give comment on how to improve this???

my personal opinion would be to stay away from those target circle symbols and the sunrays, especially to not put them together with a silhouette. these three things are all elements that are done over and over and over in design and they are really hacky looking (at least to me), and lack personality.

if you are really keen on these symbols though even just hand-rendering them makes all the difference and would give this design a personality rather than leaving it looking like it could have been made by anyone with photoshop.

just keep experimenting! I like the splatters in this version, but I don't like the guy being bright white and the speakers are a little much.

get rid of the speakers, they're too distracting, especially when they're just sitting on top of everything.



i liked the old background from the first few designs better, but i think either could work. the splatters would have to be slightly bigger though.

I think this as been almost critiqued to death, the original design while not too ... well .... original, at least it was attractive compositionally. The Ray's gave the impression of the a wall of music coming from the guitarist, the paint splotches don't convey anything (except for the fad for paint splatters that is way more common than the rays were... the rays had a bit of a retro feel at least)



I liked version 3 probably the best, but the details of on the guitar could be added to bring it up a little.

i like this. i think if you had the guitar strap back on there, as well as different splash colors, it would look more appealing. i like everything else.

personally i prefer the rays and circles, but this works too. good luck.

I think design 3, but with the rays extending to the corners of the shirt would be really cool...

Hey thanks for the feedback ill gladly return the favor. music themes stuff always seem to do well here. your design kicks ass except for the fact the the speakers really don't fit in because of the gradients

i really like V10 it looks like the guy is just exploding at you. maby if you can mix your sunburst in to that?

i'm sorry but i liked the last version a lot better. this is too cheesy to be on a t-shirt. it's what you would find at walmart. go with version 10

I'm not too sure about the stroke around the whiteish circles. They might be too narrow. Try either without or with a lot more weight on them

Great work, but the floating white circles just seem like a filler. Try working with those and make it into something that fits better.

Maybe use the circles but in the style of this (like splattered circles).

You should add some dimension to the headstock like you did the body of the guitar so it doesn't look so flat. I prefer this version and its components over all the others, especially the circles. Crit mine?
