This idea came during a conversation with a friend. I was joking around that Mr. T was actually a Shakespearean trained thespian from England, who was a well respected stage actor before his role on the A-team. But ever since then, he was type cast.
During that conversation, the visual of a vandalized Shakespeare portrait came to mind.
--I would fill in the beard and mohawk, even if it's just scribbles inside the boundaries, because the outlines alone don't stand out enough to me to represent the black hair.
--I agree with the others that some more detail on the gold chains would also help the viewer recognize the idea.
--I also agree with a slightly more Shakespeare-like phrase.
With a little sprucing up, I definitely think it would be good to print! :)
I shall work on the chains and hair details and submit a new version shortly. I was worried too much detail would make it harder to see that it was Shakespeare. But if people feel it needs more, than more I shall give! :-)
As for the Shakespeare dialog, I will let that marinate in my head a lil and see if a better phrase pops up. If anyone out there, with better knowledge of Shakespeare, has any suggestions for the text, please share.
