This is just some crazy idea i came up with at work, and just sorta played around with. I have another version thats just the dandy lion itself in a few colors ill submit it to as something different.

Anyway, what are your ideas on this. What could i do to make it better. Is it even good? lol

It is good.

I think there might be too much going on at the moment.

Just the head on its own (and maybe more of them in different sizes to add perspective) might improve on it. Maybe white on a spring or summer colour?

I don't understand the conceptual connection between the dandelion and the graphic in the background. Are they just random words? What I would suggest is making the words perhaps lyrics from a song and making them legible. The other thing I might try is eliminating that background graphic, then I could see the design working on the back of the shirt centered and large, just an idea.

i thought of that. making a couple more. (man that dandy lion took forever) lol. I dont know why i made it in brown, i think it was because i was listening to some dream theater, that made me think brown. lol

anyway. i did try the color in a blue, that looked good. ill post some more.

I don't think the text should be there, maybe just some graphic elements to jazz things up. Also, the entire image looks very blurry.

do you mean the graphic right behind the dandylion. or the on off to the right of it, with the cutout seeds floating away?

well, the blurry quality is because i shrunk it down from i high rez file.

by the way the words in the backround where ment to be unreadable.

although it may not be the best idea for this image, i just like using words to make textures. but if it isnt working, then it will have to go.

Both the graphic behind the seeds and the dandylion would look better as something other than text. In my opinion.

I agree, the text itself as it is doesn't add anything to the design. I have a design submitted for critique too, let me know what you think.

I dont know, it needs something to fill the outer area though, i dont know what. any ideas

someone suggested something like this. anyway, i just thought id try it, it still needs a lot of work if this where to be the way to go.

i really like both designs. i think you should work on them separately .

To be honest i prefer the version 2 design (sorry, i know how annoying it is when people say that)

Though i'd add a single dandelion seed floating away, maybe with a few words hanging off it.

Version 2 reminds me of a photogram which is cool... Version 1 is really pretty but almost too vibrant (although that's probably just my screen). Would you be against some embroidery in the stems?

I really like all three designs, but would like to see them placed on a tee so I could get an idea of what you're going for.

Maybe the dandelions front, lower left, with the seeds floating up and to the right?

the third is really vibrant and whimsical, looks like a "my first design!" bleh. but 1&2 have some real design too them. they just look better.
