I prefer the color scheme in v.1. The figures kind of disappear into one big haze for me with the other two color schemes.

V3!

I like the 3rd one, but I think that the top has too much yellow, where on the first submission, it looks evened out more for some reason.

you mean that the last one has too much contrast because of the yellow? still pretty much a tie isn't it?

I like V2. I'm going through a "touches-of-green" phase.

Not really contrast, but it seems like all of the yellow is clumped together at the top and the french bread, the car, and the insect are kind of like a dividing line. Below them there isn't much yellow.

good point cassie - the distribution of the colours is indeed a bit off. I might redo that for one of the versions. Atm version one seems to do best so I'll try that one.

New version with slightly different distribution of the colours. Is it better like this?

Yup this one looks pretty cool, and I really like the yellowish orange on the shovel's scoop (is that what it's called?)
