Both your changes thus far have been good ones. I like this design a lot. It took me a second, but that shirt on the guy is KEY. The only thing distracting for me is that mark on the guy's forehead. I think it's supposed to be the hair on CB's head, but it doesn't read like that from far away. Other than that I think you're good to go.
I find this hilarious, though I think Lucy pulling the football away all those times would be a much more traumatic childhood memory. He never really had a clue about Snoopy's crazy life. Though I guess that wouldn't work as well with the Lucy as psychiatrist angle.
I'm a little torn between the last two versions - I prefer the darker green of v2, but like the muted tones of v3.
I think the strength of this design lies in the fact that it does take a second to orient yourself to what's going on - and in that moment where you do get it, it's very very funny. I love the style and how it's so far removed from the original comic(which is important to the joke) - I can't think of that much I would change/add except maybe add a few subtle shadows under the figures and the chairs to bring more realism to the sketch and take it even farther away from the comic source.
Really cool - the more I look at this, the more I like it - and it seems like a perfect combination of retro pop culture, humor, and style that would do really well here. A big submit from me!
Haha very funny indeed, its a really knacked perspective on good ol charlie brown. And this is something thts has been etched into r memories ode' to charles m schulzomething. In my college days in architecture there was this seater near the canteen where id sit everyday, i had proped up a ply to look like sallys psychiatric help 1c booth
Neverthe less as much as i enjoy the graphic it will be pointless how good a graphic is unless u place it onto a tshirt. This is for a tshirt after all. Have some fun doing that too
I love this. I do think her head seems a little too large and his head seems slightly too small. However since you have a casual contour line style I'm not sure it matters. I also think maybe the curl on his head could be slightly better.
decided to change the colors, this is on silver. lighter colors seem to work better with the design. also, i changed his curly-cue hair a little bit to make it stand out more, as well as adding shadows on everything. i also tried it on yellow, light blue, light purple, and the olive color again.
ready for a sub once i figure out placement and make the swf?
