I wanted to put this into the running just to get a score, no printing possibility, but the threadless team are so careless and idiot that they said it would compromise them by putting copyrighted material on their site. So Threadless team, im putting copyrighted material on your site, will it get banned? will lego or playmobil company sue Threadless company just because a guy showed to the ppl a design he made and will make no money of it in here?

i dont think Lego or playmobil will care as long as its not for sale on Threadless.. soo, why a hospital bed?

Well, there's the printed one "You Got Some 'Splainin To Do" that deals with the same joke so I don't know if they want two. The man could have Lego-man hair. The baby does look a little creepy though, and this is partly because playmobil people are thinner and taller than lego people who have those stumpy little legs and whatever and in real life it's the babies that are chubby and short.

Claiming "parody" would probably get you out of a lawsuit, but you'd still have to go to court and waste a lot of time and money on proving it. Threadless has attracted a lot of attention from crazy companies looking to sue lately and designs have been removed from sale because of it. They have the right to choose what they print or put up for voting. If they don't want to put something out there that's going to be more trouble than it's worth, don't complain.



There is a difference between approving a copyrighted-material-containing design for voting and having it in the critiques though and if it becomes a problem, they can delete this.

Putting your work out there means people will have their opinions and will voice them. This critique started off with people giving their ideas of how to improve on the design, but your closed minded type A personality wouldn't listen to it and automatically insulted everyone who was just trying to help out. It then turned into an insult driven because your skin hasn't thickened with life. The only reason why anybody began insulting you is because as bananaphone said, your attitude sucks. If you are going to make art of any kind, be it design, music, theater, etc. get ready to have some good reviews and not so good reviews.

Sorry but its very recognizable that I was depicting Legos and Playmobils in the design, any person with little knowledge of 90's pop culture in the world( since Lego and Pbil were worldwide famous) would recognize those figure, so I admit I was a litle rude with EricDiaz due to his low knowledge on it.

I like the design bbut having never played with playmobile toys as a kid I did not pick up on the joke right away.it's well drawn but unfotunately not everyone will get the joke.I do understand you frustration with people on this site though.while a good lot of them are fair and give good advice their numbers pale in comparison to the many immature idiots on here who leave jackass comments that in no way help you to better your design. I also believe this critiquing section is kind of useless because the majority of critiques you will recieve won't be until after you have already submited your design.
