i'm just not sure how to make this be 4 colors.

i know this is kind of messy but it's just an idea that i would like comments on.

i came up with the concept in history class :)

aybe if you put some of the papers on the floor as they are parts of a diary... putng some dates on them... its just an idea.

what i dont like about the trash can is its to solid and to perfect you should hand draw one i think it might look a lot better

or origame crane?... thats the clasic origami bird... look for other type of origami just to change the clasic one ...

Yes, shading on the can would be nice, maybe by crosshatching (lines). The paper also looks like pixel thin lines and I don't like it; like it was done hastily in paint. It needs more attention to detail. Maybe draw it much bigger and then shrink it down for the preview. And 5 colours is the limit, not 4, so unless you want only 4 colours for some particular reason I think you're fine.

For color fixing. You can eliminate the grey by making the can blue or red. Or you can eliminate the lines on the paper. I think just plain white wadded up works. The cranes also seem smaller than they ought to be.

t'was done hastily in [the mac equivalent of] paint.

thank you, everyone, for the good advice. :)

agree take the emphasis off the solid bin

like the idea, should be good with more cleaned up art work

I think it would look better as a wire mesh basket or if you want to keep the solid one, give it a lip round the top and some shadows and highlights.

i really like the idea, but i agree that there should be some papers on the ground, no one has that good of aim... and the trash can needs character...

I really love the concept. I think that I would make the origami cranes bigger in relation to the trashcan, they are sort of the focus of the idea, and they could be getting larger as they fly away. I agree that the solid trash can looks strange with the overly detailed paper wads.

the trash can needs to be made 3D with some shading.
