Can I add anything? I feel as though it is plain, but I am not sure what I can/should do.

I don't know, I like simple stuff. However some people don't.

Maybe it's looking up at something on the right shoulder.

the dog looks great and its cute, but it seems like it's missing something...anything really. o_O

its cute. the artwork is great but i agree it still needs something. if your trying to tell a story or make a point you can just add a seond part easily but if it's really just to be cute you can either add a design coming out from behind it across the shirt just to take up space or you could make different color and texture copies of it maybe like an andy warhol type thing

Awwwww.......could be bigger, maybe in the center of the shirt. I like it!

I like it being in the bottom corner... but the one thing to add: White in the whites of the eyes... That's always what gets me with my puppy!!



And maybe he's looking at something in the top corner, like they said before. Maybe it's a finger pointing at him for being bad, or maybe a biscuit or something.



Add or dont add to it, but I think it's cute!!

Bad puppy! The finger is just temporary, I just wanted to get some feedback on how it looks, placment, things like that...

So, I made some changes... check out the other versions to get an idea of placment. What do you think?

Just a note, this looks a lot more fuzzy than it should, had to up the size from a small image...

Try drawing that hand in your style.

I think the bone is okay -- though I might also add something(s) between the dog and the bone like a dashed line (eye to milk-bone) and maybe something on the line between them, preventing him from getting the bone. If you've got a copy of Adobe Illustrator you might want to import these into Illustrator and trace them. That will allow you to scale them up like this without losing the quality (making them blurry or pixelated). There's also an open source alternative to Illustrator although I can't remember the name offhand.

i agree, i like the hand better. definitely draw it in your own style, or at least so it matches that of the puppy. Or if you absolutely have to have the milk bone in there, clean up the lines a bit. there is a 30-day trial available for Adobe Illustrator.

they're different qualities, it's odd.

The bone needs something more. The dog looks great, but the bone needs work. If I were doing this, I would look up pictures of bones and put some detail on the bone based off of what bare bone markings look like.



Sorry, just finished studying bones for my A&P class, so that's what came to mind.

Thanks buster! Great idea The dog has detail and the bone doesnt. I think thats why this looks off.

I agree with the previous comments about the contrast between the images; it would look better if they matched in detail.



Also, maybe different placement on the shirt? I know just to have it in the middle might be kind of boring, but it seems kind of awkward in the corner... That may be just me though, and I probably wouldn't change it unless more people commented about the same thing...

You could use more color on the dogs face to make it pop out more it seems to blend in too well or you could use a darker color but i like the design and the idea is cool just needs to pop more

I agree that you should make the dog's face pop more, it seems to blend in to the coor of the shirt too much. I think what's weird to me about the bone is because it's in such a predominant black outline both around the bone itself and the bubble but the rest of the shirt isn't, maybe if you put some detail in the bone it would help. I think the dog is adorable though :)
