This is for the Best Friend contest. Best Friends are often that way because they have something to offer that other person to help them grow. So this is what came to mind. Let me know what y\'all are thinking. Thanks!

The hearts down the side seem to indicate the colors you've used. There's nine not counting the white, so ten. I don't think you need all the gradients to make your design effective, so I'd rethink your color scheme before going any further.

I think there are, but I really can't tell if there are facial expressions on the can and flower. You need to make your design bigger and the model (placement on the shirt) smaller. You can go up to 640x800 pixels in size in case you didn't know. Don't waste so much space on the colors you're using, or waste time designing them for that matter, no one's going to be scoring your color chart.

The concept, water and flower are best friends, is a good one, but the design could come from the Care Bear site or Hall Mark or from any other mass producing, generic, please-everybody place.

Meaning, you need to make it your own. You don't need the hearts, the facial expressions on the can and flower should be able to convey love/friendship without the tired, overused heart cliché's.

Try something different than just a happy face on the top of a daisy, something more distinctive, unique to yourself and your drawing style. You could draw it, scan it, and use it as a guide in whatever program you're working with. It'll come out much more distinctive than if you just rely on the computer to interpret your vision. See example.

Same with the water can, give it a personality, sketch it out rather than settle for two dots and a curved line.

Anyway, this is me carrying on and it may not even be close to what you have in mind. So, feel free to ignore me if that's the case. Cheers!
